Great video! Most reviews I see say that the 4th gen's battery life is so bad that many are preferring the older 3rd gen despite the bigger size.

I am buying one and loved the step-by-step unboxing and installation helped me be better prepared for mine on arrival. Great video.

I’m shopping for a new smart lock. Was using the Wyze lock for several years until it stopped working.

Battery life is the worst. I’m trying to connect the wifi lock to the wifi bridge so it doesn’t use up the batteries. But I find you can’t access lock settings when away only the status. Is that what you’ve run into?

So, being Apple HomeKit enabled, means it support Apple Home Key—and by extension, this August Wifi 4th Gen support Apple Home Key?

I just bought the August 4th Gen WiFi smart lock but unfortunately it is not working. August app states that markets outside USA & Canada are NOT SUPPORTED and there is nothing they can do about it!

So you don't need any hub for the Wi-Fi on the Gen 4. Also does this lock work with SmartThings.
