Try reading the Maradith Gentry series by Laurel K. Hamilton. The first book is call "Kiss of Shadows". It revolves around a fairy princess of the unseelie court. I don't want to spoil it for you. :)

I'm so far behind on my TBR. I have, but still need to read, Julie's fae series. I haven't read many fae books. Although the middle grade 13 Curses series was pretty good =)

Hmm, yeah I don't know what it is about that genre, but I haven't read any of it (Unless you count Artemis Fowl :P) because I feel... put off by it? I don't know. I can't even explain why. It just hasn't really appealed to me. I've been trying to branch out lately though, so I'll probably give it a go eventually.

I get exactly what you mean! Suspect most Fae books will have the 2 types/courts as all ghe writers only have the same source material to research. I loved the Faery Chronicles books by Helen Sutton. They seemed less soppy n brought in the Arthurian and Irish Formori n Partholon stuff in a way i thought was kinda different. Book 1 is ok, but from 2 they get really good n twist all over the place. Just found your channel and really enjoying it. Subscribing immediately!
