Awesome saw I have the same one a lot of people say the decompression valve is useless but it’s there to reduce wear on the recoil when starting

I have this saw, mine is the M-tronic version without adjustment screws. It is very fast and powerful as well and accomplishes everything at a very light weight. It is very well balanced for delimbing trees. I look forward to seeing videos with this saw.

I thought Stihl only makes the 261 in M-Tronic now for the last few years? Is the regular carburetor version only available in Europe or what's the deal?

Sure wish i could get my hands on a new 261 without m-tronics. Stihl says you can still order them, 2 different dealers say
