In this tutorial, we explain how to install and run CogVideo text to video model locally in Python on Linux Ubuntu Machine. CogVideoX is an open-source video generation model. There are not so many open-source text to video models, and consequently, let us give it a try. The current implementation produces videos up to 6 seconds. We have also noticed that the implementation is very sensitive to the user-defined text prompts. You have to write proper text-prompts to generate decent videos. The authors suggest to use some other models to generate good text descriptions. We did not have time to investigate this. We will explain this issue later on in this tutorial.
