Tips I use.
1. Use 2 monitors
2. Whenever making big changes, always duplicate your sequence
3. Color correction can be applied to base file instead of clip. It reflects to all clips from that file.
4. For big projects, use free hand organization to organize your media
5. Setup custom thumbnails for your media files for easy browsing
6. Use track based audio effects instead of clip based to save time
7. Use a clap to sync external audio. Record a scratch track for it to work.
8. Use morph effect to mask sudden jump cuts
9. Work in Pro-res while editing to improve performance
10. Enable track targeting and use up and down arrows for navigation
11. Enable double speed playback for quick checking your edit
12. Create a template project file with all your assets if you export similar videos (YT Videos for ex). Create multiple sequences for each aspect ratio needed
13. When exporting for different aspect ratios, create a base cut, nest it, and copy it across all sequences. Any changes to base clip will reflect to all sequences then
14. Punch in our out a bit to hide jump cuts
15. Reduce auto save time to 1 min
16. Never delete your project file
17. Always export an effect less highest aspect ratio file with basic cuts if you don't want to retain original footage

Have been a FCPX user forever but yeh video dekhne ke baad i am thinking of a switch. But again somethings can be included in FCPx from these. FCPx has a major flaw and that is the amount of disk space it consumes for the projects. Try to identify the differences between the softwares. That will make a platform for various video editors as per their utility. Best video guys keep it up rooting for you. 😁
