I remember when they said they were closing branches due to a measured decrease in foot traffic over a twelve month period. They failed to mention twelve months prior you were greeted at the door by a staff member encouraging you to use the atm outside rather than withdraw over the counter. The fix is in.

What if you don’t use a 📞? Will ANZ distribute free complementary phones to enable people to jump on board the digital slave system? I think it was the NAB bank a few months back who trialed a brochure on the whiz bang convenience of using biometrics but people notified them of their displeasure and they withdrew it. My internet has been down twice this week already! Not too mention that whenever I get a power failure (which seems to be occurring a lot more these days) I also lose internet connection as my router goes down!
I don't use my mobile for internet banking, I'm old school and like to actually have a monitor and real keyboard to use. I didn't learn how to type 60+ words a minute just so I can make my thumb sore on a small virtual keyboard on my mobile.
I also don't want to have to hotspot my laptop and Desktop to my mobile's data account every time the NBN or my ISP have an "unexpected outage" not forgetting their additional numerous "planned outages" for network upgrades which seem to be a frequently occurring event in my area. With cash I can keep some on hand when these situations occur. With no cash, just like the rest of you I'm stuffed!
