Firstly, need to say that Missy Elliot's message in her rap is so important not only for the younger generation but also for we older folk who need to remember that whether one is 20 or 70 (or me in the middle), one can achieve what one wants and no one can stop us if we just believe in ourselves! We can, from youth to death, make a difference. Then, there are the 3 stars of this video, the young people who can sing, dance and rap and showed it for all of us to see when given the opportunity. I love you all, though from afar...and you can do whatever you want. Just, as Ms. Elliot stated, stay out of trouble and follow the path, pure, and don't let anyone stop you. That the proceeds of this rendition of this music we already know and love is going to help put the arts back in our schools where they must be, as they are as important as the "three R's", is the cherry on this delicious cake! Ok so I’m obsessed with The Greatest Showman and Queer Eye and this is honestly so amazing and being a high school student myself and watching other students my age finding empowerment through the arts is so heart warming and so amazing that I’m speechless.
