This scene always feels so bittersweet. It's sad to see them move apart but they both need it. Gon needs to grow and reflect on his actions and who he is as a person. As for Killua; Gon put Killua on the path of becoming a better person, but there's still a lot more he needs to learn; and I'm sure his sister will always be at his side to help him. Alluka and Nanika bring out the best in him.
