Durians comes in either bitter or sweet according to your preference. The best is when the seed is small and flat. Not that huge seed. Try the bitter ones.

Well, I'd say it's subjective. I, for one, love eating Durian and I definitely don't find the smell stinky. Unlike Radish where it's universally foul-smelling --not that Radish is a fruit but just for comparison 😊

The key to eating durian is to not expect it to taste like a sweet juicy fruit. Instead it’s more like a custard. That can be complex with butter, sweet and even alcoholic flavours.

With that mindset, it will be more palatable.

If durians are really that bad, then it won’t be so popular with people here. The main reason is it taste goood.

Just get rid of that juicy sweet fruit idea and you will be good!
