As a former sheep farmer, I can say that sheep definitely have individual personalities. Ive raised dozens of orphan lambs and every one of them remembered me even up to 18 months. I would call to them and they would come barrelling over, carrying on until I scratched their heads.

At least the previous owner recognized that they couldn’t care for her and surrendered her. A lot of animal owners/hoarders don’t even make it that far.
