There's a famous train called Toofan Express. Once upon a time it arrived 1 hr before the scheduled time. Everyone was utterly shocked, turns out the train was 23hrs late

Korea has bullet trains and thailand is just generally strict about time everywhere

In Japan they will make a public apology for being late or leaving late by more than 5 seconds.

I was travelling to Delhi from Lucknow, the train arrived Delhi 10 minutes early than the scheduled time and the people were shocked and were collectively discussing the possibility of it not being the Delhi station the couldn't believe that it was their destination until an announcement was made

Im Germany we call a 50 minutes late a blessing. We are happy if our train even arrives and isn't cancelled

In Australia (more particularly Sydney) trains are always 50 minutes late 😭

Im shocked to learn from the comments section that German trains are apparently super late. I thought everything German is super prcise and punctual.
In Denmark trains are exactly arriving and leaving on time and I love it. If theyre delayed for any amount of time it is conveyed far ahead of time so that you know of the delay. But they then try make up that time while driving to avoid domino knock on effects of delayed trains.

In Britain the trains are regularly cancelled or the staff are all on strike. Many underground stations are not operating due to staffing issues.

It has 115, 000 km of track length. It runs 12, 617 trains to carry over 23 million passengers daily. Compared to Thailand and korea, they are around 5000 km, and forget about the passenger count. But still railways are trying to keep the trains in time. 50 mins can be considered as on time only.😂
