It’s a lot more simple than I figured. Hakita basically put a giant leviathan like figure on top of a level to make the full Earthmover look like a living being.

What is taller?
A litteral skyscraper that stands on four legs, a war machine capable of destroying cities with just one hit of their spear, also looks like Vah Naboris from BOTW and is currently fighting another of those colossal machines.
A silly goober who thought it was a good idea to spend the entire city budget on bisexual lights.

fun fact: While Earthmover was initially going to attack v1, it was distracted because it was attacked by another Earthmover.

god i love it's design, seems extremely efficient at causing destruction, but the whole purpose of an arm like that is to deal with the recoil of the gun so the body doesnt have to, i think it would look better and more stable if the neck didnt move.

not to mention it looks simmilar to a sketch i did of a "perfect war machine", cuz it also looked like a tower with four legs and one cannon that feeds on blood.

It doesn’t look that big until you get close to it

im just wondering why the earth movers are attacking eachother. although, the OST name is 'war without reason, ' so it really has no purpose to why they're fighting. maybe also the reason why Benjamin charged his spear thingy at V1, supposedly they're just *violent* for no reason, i mean thats the layer name anyways.

A few theories for these absolute units (spoilers ahead)

-Ignoring how they even fit into the mouth of hell, it’s likely that due to their size, they are restricted to the violence layer, as that is the only place with a source of blood possibly large enough to sustain them: the River Phlegethon in the first circle (it is literally a River of boiling blood). It’s also possible that they are the only machines capable of feeding off of the River Phlegethon to begin with, as their size may allow them to ignore the river’s high temperatures.

-The Earthmovers we see in 7-3 and 7-4 were likely driven from their stake of the River. With hell having no influx of souls left, the River may be either drying out or shrinking significantly, making its blood an increasingly precious resource. This may also be why the ones in 7-4 are fighting: they’re trying to prematurely remove competition. (It also may be the case that they’re just programmed to attack everything on sight. They’re war machines after all.)

-Why did it immediately try to obliterate V1 when it saw them? Who knows. It has a bunch of other machines riding it, so it isn’t a case where the thing is destroying every machine on sight. It probably either saw V1 as a threat or simply chose violence. It’s the violence layer, after all.

Never noticed that it literally hurls its spear, i thought it just fires like how we fire the railgun.

Can't we just agreed that this earthmover (benjamin) has more plots than the other earthmovers?

The only time we can say for certain V1 is smaller than something

Something to note Benjamin only reacted to the blast on the first shot, and if you imagine the shield to be a sphere, it looks like it's head was slightly bit peeking out of the range, meaning it has to keep completely still as the protection isn't around the hull but rather is generated around it free from the body

So the 7-2 lvl there are benjamins in the background?

EnderJackerith

It's basically just a mechanical centaur with a city attached to it.
