"No other girl for me but her." He makes the Taj Majal look like a popsicle stand. Our minds are colored by our thoughts. His is full of love and devotion for his wonderful wife. So many people never get to experience that kind of love. God bless him for being an example of love and devotion for others. Thanks again Mr. Hartman.

I don't cry very easily but that sweet man visiting his wife's grave several times a day, everyday brought me to tears. I think all of us want a love like that, and they were 2 of the lucky ones. God bless him.

Update: Clarence H. Purvis, 97, entered his heavenly home Friday, April 23, 2021 at his residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice surrounded by his family. He was born April 14, 1924 to Ivy Lee and Lily Dubberly Purvis and lived here all of his life. Clarence was a self employed mechanic working with the Ford dealership and Lloyd Davis for many years. He also owned and operated Purvis Garage for 13 years. Clarence always put others first and loved to help others. He also loved his animals, caring for other’s animals and giving out peppermints and lolly pops to everyone. Clarence was known worldwide for his devotion and love for his wife, Carolyn and took her picture everywhere with him. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Carolyn Purvis.

He is now holding his wife’s hand in heaven for eternity now.

I feel happy for him and those whose heart he touches. He sets a standard that we can all strive for and i believe thats why he shares his love story with everyone. Im sure he thinks "if they only knew!"
