Thank you for uploading this...I do appreciate some of the old school comedy on the silent films...there are a lot of them on youtube...but I am too much a child of sound and I do find it difficult to watch them without something on alongside...so playing this download at the same time helps a lot...I am watching The Rounders with Fatty Arbuckle and Charlie Chaplin in at the moment and this music goes really well with it! 😀

I found a silent movie without a musical score online and while playing that, I also opened this video and played it. The score worked for most of the movie (there was a couple of times when it didn't fit) but on the whole it worked as a generalized silent movie score.

The best music for early moving pictures was written by J.S. Zamecnik. You can still find the sheet music online under Sam Fox moving picture music. I believe that they were published in 1913.
