Missing 3-year-old boy found dead in Mississauga creek

This park is near and dear to me. I always jog from there down to riverdale park along credit river, if not only filming videos on how beautiful that park is. BUT what I notice EVERY TIME is how PACKED IT IS with families having their picnics letting their toddlers and babies walk/run/crawl about freely. In the back of my head, I always thought something like this would happen eventually and I hate that I’m right. My heart goes out to the family.

It's a sad situation all around. Kids wander which is why you need to watch over them. I see parents all the time on their phone while their little ones destroy a store, or run hundreds of feet away from them at a park or on the sidewalk.

Around water, never be farther than arms reach from your child.

The waters have been higher this year and currents stronger after a big rain fall. These currents can make the waters edge unstable. Be careful around water folks. Even the strongest of swimmers are no match for nature.

Seems a little suspicious to me. That park and esp that area is always crawling with ppl. There’s always 10+ fisherman and ppl walking right in that spot where the kid was found. How did no one see the boy slip away and fall into the water. These parents are responsible. Should he charged. Not to mention the parents didn’t seem concerned at all. And the kids autistic. How could the parents even let him outta their sight

I always put a life jacket on my son at the beach everyone use to laugh but it takes one second gif them to get away from your sight and about the same for them to drown 😢rip little guy
