My house smells like a combination of black bean enchiladas and banana bread.♨️ Yours?

I struggle so badly with depression, and winter makes it 200% worse. I'm a cook who loves to cook. But, this time of year leaves me feeling hopeless. Your vidoes remind me that happiness does exist, and I can be happy again. Thank you for being the positive and encouraging person that you are.

After watching this vid this morning, I decided to go so some thrift store shopping. On my fourth store, I found this EXACT Zojirushi BBCC-15A machine! I am making my first loaf as I type this. Yay!

If you think deep-cleaning a 25-year-old breadmaker is a lot of fun, have I got an apartment for you!

Zojirushi is considered to be the “Cadillac” of Japanese appliances. I inherited one of those breadmakers!

I had this EXACT bread maker. I bought it at an Army Post Exchange in near Colón Panamá in 1992. I lived in the Army barracks and "cooking" was not allowed. We could use a microwave or anything without an exposed heating element. This machine technically didn't violate the rules and I absolutely LOVED torturing my neighbors with the smell of freshly baking bread. The machine was actually quite expensive, so buying a working unit for just over $10 is a great find! I lugged this hulking machine around for a while, but then when I got out of the military and had an actual kitchen, it was no longer necessary. I learned to make bread the old fashioned way. I donated my machine to a thrift store (in Monterey), and it absolutely still worked. I wonder if it's the same one!

I'm a grad student living alone and I love my bread machine. 1) I bring baked goods to friend gatherings, and everyone loves it so much. 2) I bake a loaf on Sunday, eat some, and freeze 2/3 of it, to have bread for sandwiches during the week without it getting hard. 3) you can add things you love to your bread to make delicious loaves that would be expensive in other places- my fave is cranberry walnut whole wheat bread. 4) it makes my apartment smell

I don’t know why but watching you clean the bread maker made me emotional. Something about seeing something that had been cast off by its previous owner being shown so much love by its new one...it’s quite beautiful really. Love your vids!

My mom always used to put a package of onion soup mix in the bread mix in the machine to make onion bread! Beyond delicious.

This video almost made me cry. My hubby bought this very machine for me right around when we got married and It has traveled with me all over the world. It has brought so many fond memories with it. I hadn't used it in quite a while so after watching this video, I went and got it off my appliance shelf in the garage and baked a loaf of bread. Wasn't sure if it would work for not, but IT STILL WORKED AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!! I am still in shock as I eat my beautiful buttered slice. Thanks for this walk down memory lane. What a sweet time.❤️

After watching this I went out and got a bread machine myself from a thrift store and it felt like the best decision I’ve ever made! I didn’t even know these things existed! Love this vid! I’m so excited to make bread now!

My sister tried to give a bread maker she got from her son. I said no thanks. I could just see myself with a pound of butter and fresh made bread getting big as a house, saying " My Precious". I can't control myself with homemade bread around and just can't fit in any more cardio. 😊😋😎
