Make Frozen Slushie Cocktails at home with the Ninja Slushi!

So far I've enjoyed my Ninja Slushi Machine even though there were some growing pains. The machine is still pricey at $300, but it's the most affordable real slushy machine out there. You can make things easy by simply adding soda or juice, or you can make some more advanced cocktails as well. This didn't freeze for me at all. But it clearly states in the directions that you can't go over 6 ounces of alcohol if you are at 36 ounces. Once I lowered to six ounces (4 ounces tequila + 2 ounces Grand Mariner) I was able to find the right balance of the remaining ingredients: water (2 3/4 cups), lime juice (2/3 cup) and simple syrup (4 ounces). Thanks for the tip on the water - it is a MUST ADD and I would never have figured that out.

Absolutely love this recipe.
Took the liberty of converting this to a 64oz batch. (Max fill) using ounces instead of Mls. Let me know what you think.
65 oz recipe (use the remainder to top off after pour)

Water = 31oz
Tequila = 12oz*
Lime juice = 9oz*
Rich syrup = 7oz*
Orange liquor = 6oz*


*I used 40%/80 proof tequila
*i used fresh squeezed lime juice (I'm sure bottled would work.)
*rich syrup is 2 parts sugar to 1 part water
*for orange liquor i used Cointreau (40%/80 proof)

Taste the same, looks the same and freezes the same!

Just bought ours tonight! thank you so much for the help. we threw a premade ready to drink margarita mix in ours and were so confused as to why it wasn't working. After adding about two cups of water it finally turned out perfect. My wife and I would love if you made more videos with this machine.
