You have legal advice on your house sell I'm sure, but did i understand they want possession before finalizing the sell? That sounds sketchy.

Never give possession before closing, unless you have very detailed, attorney reviewed, documents. I would never do that.

I would never ever give possession of my house before payment and closing! Had a friend do that and the buyers trashed the house and never were approved for the lone! It was a legal nightmare!

Do not hand over the keys to your house until the documents are signed and the closing agent has the money from the buyer. We have always told the closing agent when selling a house to not give the keys till they are in possession of signed docs and money!!

We moved not too long ago and someone gave us the tip of going to local liquor store and asking if they have any boxes. The boxes are smaller but you cant over fill them and they stack beautifully. Also We may have looked like alcoholics to our new neighbors, but it worked😉

I wouldn’t let them move in until after closing date. I’ve seen on the news that some people that are buying the house move in early than back out of sell but refuse to move out . Then you have to take them to court to get them out. Something similar was on California news. But the seller sold the house and after it closed they refused to move. They sold the house last January and new owners finally got them out this week . After going to court a lot. But be careful. Don’t want something like that happening to you . Not after the van thing. But make sure everything is in place and the sale actually going through before letting them move in.

Tip for when you are moving the house stuff....mark on the boxes which room each box goes in...that way when you move it all in right away bring each box to its assigned room..

DO NOT under any circumstance let them take possession of your home before closing, that is a BIG NO NO.

I have just finished boxing up our things. Moving truck comes on the 6th of April but we got the keys earlier than expected so have moved about 15 car loads over to the new house. It's so very tiring to move. Happy Easter from Australia 🐨❤

If you were able to sell the house this fast, it means your build will start sooner. Fantastic.

I work at a doctor's home/resort (lol). Theirs was the first that I had heard of having a hot water spigot. It's just off of the driveway for washing vehicles, boat, 4 wheelers, hosing off the garage, etc. It's awesome and so convenient and might I add, a brilliant idea.

When we closed on our house we were supposed to get the keys at closing, the sellers decided they needed an extra month due to their closing date. We ended up owing our first mortgage payment before we recieved our keys to the house. They refused to pay us a month rent at closing.

Okay I have been watching a news story where a couple bought a home and the owners refuse to move out. Please be careful with the early move in and later closing. We love your family and we feel the need to protect/warn/mother hen you guys its a scary world.

I am glad I am not the only one doing that. We just bought our first house. I have been from day one packing. Mainly things we do not use on the daily. I feel it will be easier on us when we go to move. Happy Easter guys!! 💞

Have you thought about going to the liquor stores for boxes. Heavy duty for dishes, pic frames, etc
