Airbnb is a solid move. My wife and i renovated half our basement into a fully furnished studio with full bathroom. We live between 3 major colleges within a 20 min radius so that helps but we only can allow 2 people to stay. Regardless it basically pays for our mortgage + some utilities for 9 months out of the year.

We do our own, buy the oil when it's on sale at Costco and w/ the filter we're all in at about $45-$50. You're very handy, it's not any harder than all the projects you're doing at the flip house, so you may want to invest in an oil pan and diy :)

My city is building car washes like crazy too. I used to work for a storage facility in the early 2000’s and over the years I noticed a boom in building those too. We also have a lot of growth lately in Mexican restaurants and we are in Iowa. Some of them are really good too. We love them! Happy vacation! Love your videos especially when Mose shows up!

Since subscribing years ago, I've watched dozens of your videos and every time I leave shaking my head in wonderment. I love it when you talk about some of the things that go on behind the scenes, such as in this video how you described your original plan about how merchandise would move through your warehouse from one stage to the next. I had to smile when you admitted the original plan hadn't exactly worked out as you planned at first. What plan ever works out exactly the way a person hopes for? But you have adjusted and moved on, which is EXACTLY why you have such a successful business. You two are such an encouragement and you will never know how, perhaps your actions and the way you go about your business day to day, may have affected and inspired someone else. I do my own oil changes. 6 qt full synthetic + filter is around $25. Cheaper if you buy the supplies when they are on sale. It is super easy and takes under 20 minutes.
