I'm so glad that, unlike so many of the parents in these stories, my parents believed me when I was a kid and I said I saw something weird. I can't imagine how insecure it would make you feel to go to the person/people who are supposed to protect you only to have them accuse you of making stuff up.

I belong to a UFO experiencer group. One participant has had depression for years because their parents dismissed the UFO visitation. Then, they made the person into the black sheep of the family. This person has had anger and depression over it, for years. Poor Jose. Scapegoated. Destroys trust.

Cyclopses. I used to live in Yakima, Washington (1963-1966). Every hunting season people would disappear. Most of the missing people were never found. However, most of the U.F.O.s I have seen were in Eastern Kentucky, West Virginia, and North Carolina (near Ft. Bragg).

I was born in Yakama Washington 1964.... Family moved around 1975... To Dublin CA. 1976 was my first UFO experience and have more than my share of spacecraft from Orb size to mountain sized. I used to see lights and awkward looking things under my back deck. When looking at my nest security camera. When it was using night vision. I thought i was tripping. When i swear i would see a face and eyes and a mouth messing around with the lawnmowers and other things under the porch. Ive been out and saw the lights through my phone but couldn't see it with my naked eye. Everytime these things happen my dogs are freaking out in the backyard. For the longest time when i let my dogs out of their pen. First thing they did was run and inspect under my back deck. Of course when I try to talk to someone. About this. Im accused of doing drugs. My parents don't think UFOs are real. They say crazy people only believe that. I've recorded a lot of lights. I want to get a great hd camera with a good distance zoom. Alot of lights that look like satellites but don't move like satellites and they are not planes. I'm so intrigued by these things.

When I was a little kid I made up a superhero named Recyclops, a one-eyed superhero whose main superpower was recycling, and who had a huge left foot (his "recycling foot") for crushing aluminium cans.

I saw a saucer thing, in either late 1965, or early 1966, above our neighborhood, outside of DC. It was twilight, and I was on the way home from choir practice. My family made fun of me, so I just stopped trying to tell them. The next day, there was a small article in the Washington Post, saying that others had seen it, but it was a weather balloon. I really wasn't sure of what that was, but went to the library, to see if I could find it in a book. That is not what I saw. I've known for the last 58 years what I saw. It looked like a huge silver colored saucer, with lights around the perimeter, that changed color, was silent, and I only saw move slightly, except for the light color. It dawned on me to finally be scared, so I ran to my home.

I can’t imagine not jumping out of bed and checking, if my kid told me someone was in my yard. That’s the wild part about this story
