Anthony Alba, popularly known as Jaby Koay, is an American YouTuber, reviewer, and social media personality.

Jaby has a massive following in India. He is known for his original reactions to movie trailers, speeches and now interviews with top actors.

Jaby's content is really famous among the Indian netizens but often begs the question: Are Jaby's reactions always legit? Or is he just playing to the people's expectations? Jaby seems to have become a prisoner of his own promise of positive reactions to Indian films. He can't really give negative reactions.

But the real problem with Jaby is his rebranding to Cine Desi. Why is it a problem? Watch the video to know the reason.

In this week's CDD, Shubham & Shreevar discuss the Jaby Koay Phenomenon and where can he go from here.

To be fair to Jabi, Indians react harshly to negative criticism, especially from outside India. Jaby playing safe, helps him avoid that and have more views. He is just trying to make a living like everyone else and successfully found a niche for himself.

Because some people see the good things in a film, even if it is a bad film we try and take away the good thing from there. 99% of the films I watch I like because I like something from there. Even if I like 1 thing in a film it means the film is good. The problem is Indians have become too critical of everything.
