Atmospheric Ionization by Weather

The institution of meteorology disputed and dismissed the proposals of Nobel Laureate CTR Wilson that lightning generated high energy corpuscular radiation high in the atmosphere. Since the current model of lightning fails to consider the particle acceleration and generation of gamma rays, new evidence requires a re-investigation of the electrical nature of storms.
