That truck upgrade is way cool. Perhaps you could convert the old truck to become a water tanker/fire truck. It would give you fire fighting and an income option to hire out.

Best episode ever!
Having converted a dozen trucks into dump trucks over the years, I'm well aware of the amount of work involved. You guy's did an excellent job.

I would love to see the "LONG" version of this where you include all of the deliberations, the conversations, the mistakes, the LONGGG version. Would learn more and love every minute of it! This is my favorite channel!

Love that you are putting up subtitles for someone with a slight northern English accent :)

I am actually so jealous that you got your hands on a mk29 bed. You may want to reprogram your TCM to not jake brake as aggressivly on the highway by changing the target gear on the TCM to 5 rather than 2. Also adjusting your ctis pressures unloaded would be a good idea because of the new added empty weight. Good work. 505 hp tune will also wake the truck up ALOT.

You should make a dump trailer out of the orange truck cut the frame and make a pintle hitch on the front

Just a suggestion - You should change out all of the wheels on your roll-around tool carts, welding machine cart, and plasma cutter, to all terrain tires so you don't have to continually lay down plywood in order to move things across gravel and rock. Would be beneficial when working remotely as well. Would make a fun video to watch!

Here in Sweden we have used those mini splits for more than 30 years. Mostly for heat. Nowadays we use the same principle, but with boreholes 100-200 meters deep into the ground. Works great for both heating in the winter and cooling in the summer.

Dont forget to pull that netting over loose material/rock when hauling, the ticket will be costly if not, not to mention broken windshields and accidents it could cause.

What amazed me the most, was this whole build, AC for shop, lights and living quarters were all done by solar. Amazing.

Metric Andy is the best. Very accurate fellow. 😂

The bolts that you try to take off are huck bolts, you will never get them off so always start by cutting. The nuts are pulled down then hydraulically crimped on

Kept both! The smaler one will be useful for jobs that don't need a monster dump!

You need to invest in a mag drill. I can see that saving you a lot of time and a lot of work.

Amazing project guys. Though that off road welding cart project is seriously needed I think. You guys certainly would have had a lot of use out of it. Living the dream guys for all of us. Keep going🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

Smaller dump truck would be nice for smaller projects. Build a drop in fire skid for protection (you have trees-there will be fire).

I can't believe you don't have a mag-drill already.
