My problem is with students saying they want to “take” their book from their other classroom. I insist they are supposed to say “get” my book, unless they are standing right beside the book and are asking to “bring” it. If they are not near the book, they are too far to “take” it, they have to get it first, and then take it. “Get” encompasses going to its location and then taking it. Do you agree?
