Enjoyed this. I have been keen on viewing the 153 as a tie into Ezekiel 47 by way of the John’s heavy use of numerology. Knowing that Jesus is the source of living water that precedes from the temple that is His body, John ties the numerical values of Gedi(17; 153 is the 17th triangular number)and Egliam(153) into this account to state that the new creation has begun, aka, waters of the Dead Sea are being made fresh.
