As well as the above, you can find The Art Gear Guide on the following Social Media platforms.

Donations

I am not comfortable adding this to my site or YouTube channel. I receive many emails and messages asking me how people can help support The Art Gear Guide, mainly I think due to the fact that I purchase all of the supplies myself, except those sent directly from companies kind enough to do so. I have decided to add a donations button to my site, however, I feel the best way to add such a campaign is as follows, all donations made will be used to purchase art products for review, however, all products purchased using donated funds, after they have been reviewed, will be used as giveaways to subscribers of the YouTube Channel, the web site or any of the above social media platforms. This way I personally will not benefit from financial donations. I have set this channel and site up for my own enjoyment and not profitable gain. I feel with this support method, everyone wins but not in a financial.

My Own Personal Art

Thank You

Finally, thank you so much for all of your support, without all of you, this channel and The Art Gear Guide would simply not be the same. Thank you so much.

Your review was most timely as I've been looking at other reviews of some of Koh-I- Noor other products. This was a very helpful review! I think it is a wonderful gesture to give this set to one of your neighbors. I am sure she will enjoy them and will be very grateful to receive such a wonderful gift. From all your videos you demonstrate such great values and ethics. You seem to be such a kind and dear soul and I wish for you continual improved health and much happiness as well as for your family.

You can still pick up the old style ones on ebay really cheap. They come without the gold cap and come in a card box but they are still the same pencils.

These are my favorite watercolor pencils for just everyday coloring and whatnot. I really do love them. :) Great review and thanks for the info about the PDF! That'll really help a lot!

Thanks for this, Harry! I just compared these to the Caran d'Ache Swisscolor, which I recently bought. There is basically no difference when swatching! The Mondaluz blend beautifully, dissolve perfectly when applying water. You are so right that Koh-i-noor are underrated. I have never been disapponted by any of their products. A bonus is that they are sold open stock (I think Swisscolor come only in sets?) I enjoyed your thorough review and recommendation. Thanks again.

I have the 36 set, just ordered the 72 set for 40.00, that is an awesome price! They are vibrant, creamy and perform so nicely! I have Albrecht Durers and these hold up very similar to them!

I really like that you are giving these pencils to someone who really needs and will use them. You and your family will be blessed. You are a top shelf guy!

Congrats on going the whole year doing these great reviews! They’re all very helpful :D
and it’s so nice of you to give these pencils away to a young artist!
I’ve had this set for 7-8 years and I wish mine had these pull-out „ears” 😂 I’ve used my Mondeluz in the tin for 2-3 years and the trays are torn in some places, but now I keep them in my Derwent bag and it works pretty well :) I put them in it by numbers and I lost some of that pretty rainbow that is originally in the tin, but I lost track of how it was originally set after using it like five times anyway… They were my first good quality coloured pencils and I really need to get back to using them again. I kind of wish I got a 36 set instead though, it would definitely be enough for watercolour pencils.

Great review. Pigment streaks left on the paper can be also due to the paper used :)

ahh they are gorgeous! I hope to get a set for myself eventually. I'm only just starting with watercolor pencils so these are plenty attractive. Awesome review! Also you're very kind to give those to her :)

Harry: did you know there is also a ‘school’ range of watercolour pencils from Koh-I-Noor? I was amazed at the quality of the pigment for the price. When someone on the colouring Group I am in mentioned them, I at first poo-pooed them until I saw what she had done with them. The main difference is in the build with the school model being very basic barrels without the glossy finish; plus very rough looking wood. But don’t let that put people off, there really isn’t a lot of difference in the pigment. They cost an amazing only £4.95p on eBay. The seller is The Hamilton Pen Company.

I got a small set of koh-i-noor graphite pencils in high school and feel in love with them. I picked up a set of their water colour disks a few years later and they were great too. not that i knew any better at 19 years old with limited access art supplies but i never found anything comparible in my budget. This was the 90s pre online shopping. I've been wanting buy more of their stuff but in Australia it can be hard to source them and can be expensive even if you buy online as shipping can often be $15-30 to Aus.
