That’s amazing, Shana!👏🏼 The blackest black I have found is the ”Stabilo All” black pencil. It is water-soluble, too.

They are genuine, the brand just made a bit of a mess with various sets. There used to be just a 72 set of both watercolor (Mondeluz) and the standard colored pencils - the Polycolor range. Then they added a portrait set of Polycolors, a grey set and a brown set (both Polys and Mondeluz). Then they added even more Polycolors, the biggest set of Polys now has 144 colors, but these don't have their watercolor equivalent (yet). And they also have woodless watercolor pencils. Some pencils have names, some just have numbers.

This is such a great intro to these pencils. Koh-I-Noor is a well-established brand, but I personally don't have much experience with their pencils. Really enjoyed how you laid them down in the drawing/painting, to demonstrate the range that is attainable. Thank you for this! Cheers, Mark

OH MY GOSH! Absolutely beautiful Shana! Isn't sad that these gourges gray colored pencils can't find the info of the color chart, and their lightfastness? It's a shame! Looks like a water soluble graphite pencils! Beautiful ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕

Maybe the light grey ones can be useful for sketching with watercolour paintings, if they neutralize once activated.

I’ve got the Polycolor set of these, which I bought a while ago to do value studies. They were a bit too hard for my liking, but now I think I should try them again, maybe on a more textured paper. The colour numbers are the same as yours, but mine have printed colour names on the back (in a different style, so probably an afterthought). It’s as you said, 451 Warm Grey 1 etc and 401 Cool Grey 1 etc

Another great tutorial. I loved both finished pieces. You are stirring my art supply addiction! More supplies I need. Have you ever used Fabre Castell Graphite Aquarella pencils? They are water soluble graphite. I think you got much darker from those pencils. Another great video Thanks Shana!
