Finn was literally the token black guy for the new trilogy. At least Lando contributed in meaningful ways, he led the attack on and blew up the second death star. What do they have Finn do? Point out a radar station... And I'll be fully honest I did not like Force Awakens, but when I saw John's character as a stormtrooper going through PTSD (actually having visual trouble dealing with what he was being commanded to do) I was legit interested (like the scene where a dying stormtrooper wipes blood on his helmet). Appearing to give off an air that this movie will humanize the stormtroopers and make them appear as actual people in armor. It left me wondering where this will go "will he try to defect and save other fellow comrades?" until one scene later where Finn is completely over his mental traumas and just starts gunning down people he has probably known for years like a psycho....

Shrinking wasn't enough so they just completely removed him. Wow. Finn was one of the more intriguing characters as an ex-stormtrooper and could've had so much character development. But no. Bill Burr's character got way more developed in Mandalorian despite having half the screentime Finn does in the ST. That's just sad.
