Well said! I had no idea about the dark side of the R.R. Hall of fame until Steve Miller was vocal about the organization a few years ago.

Not just guys that didn't wear makeup, Eric Carr was a member for 11 years. Just saying

The Hall of Fame is a joke. There are dozens of bands that deserve to be "members' but will probably never get inducted because the members don't like them or some other reason.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a joke.

The greatest and most iconic years were with the four original members of Kiss, that's undeniable.

Kiss is a top 10 all time iconic rock band. They have the most gold records of any american band. They have sold 100m + albums, they have been around since the 70's, their big stage show was original, revolutionary and has been copied by tons of bands, on and on.
Without kiss, the RnRHoF is not a valid entity

Paul's thought process is a little convoluted here. He needs to acknowledge Ace and Peter as the founding members weather he like's it or not, give credit where credit is due.

Ace Freley was once asked about not touring with the band and I have a lot of respect for his answer. He didn't care as long as he got his money.  : )

KISS are the original four, not the hired guns. This is one of the few things Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is correct about.

Valid point! If the band Kiss is the one being inducted, if former members are in good standing with the original members and members of the final iteration of the band. And they contributed to the bands success and longevity, and the founding members want them included in the recognition. They should be included in the ceremony and the literal induction.

Eric and Bruce, without any question, totally deserved to be inducted!!!

Paul Stanley has a pleasing Jersey voice. His Audio book where he constantly slams Gene, is how I get to sleep every night. Yes he reads his own audio book.

I was prepared for all the comments that were going to going off on Paul, when in reality, he’s just telling the truth. While Eric Carr and Vinnie did also wear their makeup, it’s not really the first thing you think of when you think of the band’s face paint. He’s a very well spoken man, and I don’t think some people understand that.

Saw them a few nights back.. It was such a thrill. The other members should get in with the 4.. It's bs that Rock N' Roll Hall is..

I understand Paul's point. There were members through the years that also deserve recognition. Even though I don't agree with the tactics of recent. The fact remains that over the career of KISS. Other members outside the original 4 helped make their mark at that time which should be recognized.

The Rock Hall in Cleveland is a cemetery where old guitars, stars clothes and possessions go to get buried.

I applaud any individual who stands up for all the members who’ve stood the test of time. 🙇🏻‍♀️🔎👏🏽. Freedom of speech is still allowed in our Beloved Country. I enjoyed their music and so have many others...stop the trolling people. Thanks for posting this as not many understand the politics of the RIR Hall of Fame process. 🙇🏻‍♀️🔎👍🏽🇺🇸😉

Lame how CNN has a picture of the half KISS in the background. With all do respect for Paul, He wouldn't be where he is today without Ace and Peter. I'm glad the Hall of Fame only honored the real KISS. The original four who ruled the World, not half of a tribute band trying to copy that special chemistry.

Well, at least Kiss got in to the hall of fame. They deserved it. Say what you will about their music, but I was there as a teen in the 70's and their music was bass, drums, crunchy rock guitar driven testosterone-pumping schtick. We used to play Kiss on a tape deck durings shop class while we worked on our projects. Calling Doctor Love!

Alice Cooper has had several outstanding musicians playing with him over the years, but only the original band got in.. I agree with that
