I used to be on Twitter, I had a large amount of followers and I used to defend Jeremy Corbyn. I was asked by Twitter to remove a comment I posted saying that a Specialist had questioned the need for mass vacination and criticised Pharmaceutical companies. I refused to remove the post because I felt people needed to hear both sides of the story. It is concerning that people are not allowed to question/criticise the mainstream narrative. Similarly, on Facebook I have been prevented from sharing a link showing the Palestinian side of the story or the Russian side of the story and received a notification from Facebook that the link cannot be shared, even though the link is from well respected sources. It is not only people such as George Galloway that they are targeting, but also, some ordinary people like myself, to prevent people like myself sharing alternative views. It seems to be getting worse and affecting many social media platforms. Social Media was our chance to point out how mainstream media (TV, Radio & Newspapers) were misleading the public/biased. However, they are even making it difficult to express the other side of the story on social media. Very concerning and maybe people will only be able to communicate with each other via groups in the community - person to person (assuming they do not try to stop the public getting together in groups, or misusing laws to stop free speech). Britain/the west used to criticise other countries for suppressing free speech, but the west is doing so now - we've seem well respected Journalists detained at airports, had their homes invaded in Britain and their computers, etc ceased, for no valid reason. We are being intimidated and harrased to try to frighten us into silence about the wrongs. We must do anything we can to refuse to be silenced and it's important that we all stand up, not just some of us stand up. Otherwise corrupt politicians and authorities will get away with controlling the narrative to ensure the public are misled.
