On one hand I admire your tenacity, on the other hand, so many things are wrong here. Good luck man.

i work in a body shop in the uk and the small sander you use is  awesome for that kinda stuff with the roll lock 36 grit sanding pads there so good good work on the build and keep it up!

I am just now stumbling upon this project. I can already tell 2 episodes in you are very "attention to detail oriented" the final product is going to be perfect! 👍Great stuff man, can't wait to watch them all. I have always wanted to try something like this...hmmm maybe one day 🤔

Between the relentless talk and musak I had to go to the last part, part four to end the torture. That's 100% DIY

Note a cheese grader would remove the bulk of the work....then spay adheive and cover with aluminum foil....then apply fiberglass...3 layers....then peel off....make a mule out of wood as a mirror of that side and then cover mule with aluminm foil...fiberglass and wallla! your dream came true...

that's awesome but how are you gonna shape both sides evenly.. that seems difficult.. i suggest you mesure the width of the sculpted foam from the inside of the fender that should be easier.
can't wait to see the next video ;) good luck

Perhaps this will be answered later in the videos. But here is where I am worried, at this point:

the foam is bonded to the masking tape. The masking tape is bonded to the car. So all of this foam is attached by no stronger of a bond than that of painters tape.

Won't that fall off?

Wow I have to say great strategy to make a wide body kit with instafoam. One thing I would suggest as far as sanding to help the process go faster is using a D A dual action orbital sander, typically in about an 8-in disk should do it.
