8k is a nice feature, but nearly nobody is using it. I would go for the Gopro, because GPS is back, and speech control on my Insta360 X3 has a lot of room for improvement

8k is completely useless for most people. That should NOT be the reason to buy it. They need to focus on actual hardware like a lens that can focus at closer distances. Those videos of putting the camera near firecrackers and on a hot grill are so stupid. Nobody is going to use their camera that way and it's a really stupid marketing gimmick.

Im so used to gopro, again had it since 8 and used ther door to plug it into power bank for dash cam on my bike, very good in even very heavy rain... does ace pro have this or third party have it?

Ace Pro would overheat just fishing at a pond in less than 20 minutes. An action cam that can’t perform during action moments… I hope the “2” solves that problem. I’d give it yet another chance
