On today’s exploration, I’m taking you down to the Gulf of Mexico to explore an abandoned $26,000,000 mega mansion rumored to be once owned by a powerful drug lord in the Mexican Cartel.

Built in 2000, this 13.5K sqft mansion sits on a whopping 10 acres of land, has 6 bedrooms, a 25 car garage, an elevator, and a full sized gym. If that’s enough, it also has a 2.5 acres of private beach land and a gated driveway that’s a quarter mile long for intercostal access.
It’s almost unimaginable that such a place exists, let alone, abandoned.

Despite the risks of being arrested for trespassing or the threat of squatters living inside, we had to see this place for ourselves. So let’s explore this mysterious modern mansion and get a taste of what it must have been like experience such an elegant home.

I still can’t believe that there is millions buried somewhere on that beach that they could not retrieve before they went and sadly died in prison.. They apparently told family about the money but they could find it.. Almost a billion dollars just buried somewhere on the beach.

As a newer subscriber, I’ve been binging on some of your older videos, this one popped up in my feed and I have to say this one is special. What a place and that view!! I absolutely love your content Jeremy and the honor you give to these abandoned places just repeatedly warms my heart. I’m so glad I came across your channel! 💜

Even not being maintained and open to elements it could still last a long time being built of marble and having a terra cotta roof. Wow that thing is beautiful

I’m new to this channel when I saw this home I knew who it belonged to at one time-my husbands ex-boss (he was an oil man) when they built this home it costed his ex boss $50 million (my husband helped build it-trust me when I tell you it was a gorgeous home once they were done with it and it was furnished-we’ve spent several summers there and I was mind blown by it) the home was sold within the last 10-12 years but don’t know who bought it from his ex boss. To see it now breaks my heart-Thank you for sharing this with us.

Any ocean front place won’t take long to waste away . I used to live on the Atlantic ocean & maintenance is CONSTANT… and I mean CONSTANT. The salty air disintegrates almost everything

Hey guys thanks for showing us the abandoned mansion, I'm wondering if you were able to obtain original photos to show us the before and then after.

They are called tray ceilings.Salt water destroys things but then you add hurricanes, and the property goes fast. Be careful of things made of wood down south, the termites are a huge problem on the gulf.

A lot of that distruction is people breaking in and looking for hidden cartel money. I guess I should say at this point, no cartel do not hide their money in the walls but I guess some people hope they do. Thanks for sharing this house, it was beautiful in its time for sure. Also, the grand use of marble and other expensive building materials is a way for them to laundry money here in Florida.

Wow! You hit the jackpot finding this place! I cant imagine how much the upkeep alone would
have cost or the amount of money on just furniture alone! Can you imagine furniture shopping
to fill that whole house? You know they probably had to have the best of everything so Im
assuming the furnishings alone would have cost more than the mansion did.
Thanks for another great video! I subscribed after I seen your last one 😀 You were right
about taking that risk and possibly getting caught but we are all glad you did as It was so worth it
to see such a grand place! 😃💜💗

Great explore. Glad to see u partnered with Big Banks. Good choice. He's quiet good with a camera, very detailed as u r Jeremy. I like serious attention paid 2 surroundings.
Yes I believe this was a cartel home. Who else would have the money to have such an austentatious home?
Wondered what it looked like after the last 2 hurricanes,
Thx 4 the ride. Hope 2 see u guys explore together again. Much luv. Stay safe.
