You have really embraced this music in a true heartfelt way. You get it. I understand the emotion you feel. Spanish language music inspired me to learn Spanish many moons ago because it moved me and I just had to know what the songs were about. Learning the language through music also put me in line culturally. It opened up another world for me and I wouldn’t give it up for anything. I’m partial to Mexican artists but am a fan of so many others as well. I saw Juan Gabriel for the first time in 1979 or 80 at the Million Dollar Theatre in downtown Los Ángeles!

I'll never forget the day Juan Gabriel came to Denver and performed at the Denver coliseum, I was only 6 years old, im now 39. Because my uncle built the metal fence around Juan's house in Mexico we got free tickets, and we got to meet him! I grew up with his music echoing in our home everyday, nobody compares to him. I love that you have made videos honoring him, his voice, performance, and translating his lyrics. Because his lyrics were so beautifully written !
