Quick note: in newer Obsidian versions, to create a checklist (at least on Windows), you'll need to press **CTRL+L** instead of **CTRL+Enter key**

This behavior can be changed to whatever combo you'd like to use if you go to "Settings > Hotkeys > Toggle checkbox status"

Love your directness. Your explanations are concise and seem very authentic. Other YouTubers tend to labour their presentation style but I appreciate how you just get on with the job. Great work my friend, thank you 👍

Very cool, thanks. I subscribed to your channel precisely because of the topic of studying Obsidian. And I like your presentation of information, you speak very clearly and without unnecessary fluff, very clear and specific things with clear examples and precise explanations.

FYI, you can put non-inline footnotes wherever. You don't need to put them at the bottom of the page. Either way, they will show up at the bottom in reading mode. And you can give each footnote a meaningful name instead of calling them 1, 2, 3, etc. The numbering shown in reading mode is automatic anyway, so the numbers you specify are meaningless. You can call it footnote 72, but if it's the first one on the page, it'll be called 1 in reading mode.

This was hands down the most helpful video on internal linking in Obsidian I saw until this date. THANK YOU! :-)

Really needed a quick guide like this; awesome. Followed line-by-line so I have a markdown syntax doc now, to refer to. Thanks so much!

You can also create your own block ids to link to. It does need to be the auto generated numbers. Syntax: ^your-id

Thank you sir! I'm new to Obsidian, and this really helped alot with markdown syntax. What's interesting is that you can actually embed links, which is a pretty useful feature overall
