BLACK HAIRY TONGUE?! How To Get Rid Of It 👅

Black hairy tongue may sound awful, but its important to know that its harmless. #BlackHairyTongue is caused by an overgrowth of Papillae on the tongue leading to the growth of bacteria or fungi in the mouth, which can make the tongue look hairy.
Bacteria and fungus can build up on papillae. Instead of shedding normally, the papillae can grow to 15 times their normal length.
Usually the color is black. But the tongue can also be green, brown, yellow, or other colors.
#CausesOfBlackHairyTongue include
poor oral hygiene
smoking tobacco
drinking a lot of coffee or tea
using antibiotics (which may disrupt the normal balance of bacteria in the mouth)
being dehydrated
not producing enough saliva
regularly using mouthwash that contains peroxide
Usually #HairyTongue will subside on its own, but if it does not use the tips listed in this video to try and expedite the process of removal.
