Been playing since arma 3 mod can’t believe how far it has come

DayZ is the only game I see playing into my retirement. Despite the fact that there always seem to be one bug or another, it's still more entertaining to play than most games I've come across. And, of course, I could not be more excited for the new map coming, Sakhal. The fact that it is a small map means more crazy engagements. I'd rather run into players more often than run around for hours just to find bullets for the IJ I've been carrying the whole time. Anyway. Jumping on DayZ now.

We need a DayZ 2 with a complete overhaul of graphics and animations. As it is the devs are fighting a losing battle trying to patch a sinking ship with duct tape. The engine is just way too old and only getting more dated as time goes on

Ive been playing on and off for years now. If were going to be real - theres nothing more fun than the first time you get on after a while. It gets boring very very quick and you lose all purpose. Then its back to 'what now'

Being playing nearly 2 weeks, 30 hours in game, thinks I'm on my 20 th runs. I was indeed a screaming angry 32 year old and 5th play through, but once you come to terms with the mechanics amd realistic survival experience ( your gonna die ) this game is brilliant and kind of addictive ( with the meltdowns) this game is ruthless

Can they add like 10 new guns? Just to spice up the loot pool. Mid tier mili bases are so boring as you only ever get ak 74, sks or m16. They should add improved variants of the guns seen in the game such as famas f2 or m16 a4

I'll be honest, I love DayZ, but I think it's time for a new game/new title with a similar theme. Especially for those without access to PC. When the disappointment that was the Day before was announced everyone was drooling over it, only to get catfished. I think it's time someone else did what they couldn't and deliver, with smoother mechanics, graphics and overall gameplay.

Bought the game in the first month of console release and have never regretted it. Only wish there was an offline option with easy to use server modding menus.
