Happy New Year. Looking forward to the year ahead. I have found some interesting books myself recently. Brain Energy is a must read. He is so close to a solution. Mitochondrial function and our health. Great read. Anyone who wants to heal the body and mind here is where to begin, as we all should.

*1 mind body connection? But does she ignore the soul, or the meta part of our being, or is it another therapist or doctor living with their head in the sand?
*2 - I would also be interested in a book on the Republic of China, Taiwan is not part of China, it is the only remaining heart of their culture. I have studied the ancient culture and philosophy for decades.
*3 -Music as healing: reminds me of a quote: There are ten levels of meditation/prayer, and above them is song... I argue that doing what we do: reading and deeply engaging with the material is the same as playing an instrument(science has show they both hold off dementia etc) **It will NOT Cure PTSD!! That can only happen within
*4russia and china - I would be wary i run across few that speak on this without an agenda…
*5 new social circle - Jung spoke on this modern malaise - connection, communitas, eklessia, sanga. it s connection yes, but one with other and oneself - there is the rub - I recommend martin Buber's I and thou.
**6 Utopia is a fever dream, so not sure about this book? Digital dystopia maybe :p but if utopia is impossible then so is dystopia. Your stance on tech is the metamodern one - to vet the old and new for how it can benefit us. AI is a great example. I use it to make me more, not to replace parts of me. Tech will not replace us: only we can do that. The risk is not using tech to make us more, rather than use the tech to replace what is us. LAzy.
*7 the disengaged teen - I would be hopeful. But - the Jon Haight book the anxious teen was very disappointing. He even admits he was wrong, but his errors are mentioned on his blog only. IT is still popular and recommended. I am worried. As example: they often say we should take the kids phones away, blaming the kids. It is not the kids. It is the relationship we have with tech. Haight admits he was wrong that holding their phones only make them think of what they will do when they get their phone back. So I argue the solution, with all tech and our malaise about it like AI, the solution is to change our relationship with tech...

It's now February and I'm just finding this video. Sometimes the algorithm is a little late but better late than never. Now to binge a bunch of your videos. I hope my bank account survives 😂
