Because of your channel I have found middle grade books. When I was a kid it was children's or the newly added section of YA, there was no middle grade. Thank you because now I can share books with my oldest son. He's excited to read Percy Jackson as well as the Aru Shah series and Amari.

If you don't have it on your wishlist yet, A Dark Queen Rises is the sequel to Upon a Burning Throne. Not sure if Go the Distance is on your wishlist, but that came out and that's another Twisted Fairytale. I have noticed that the Twisted Fairytale a come out in spring and fall, the next one comes out in September which I believe is called What Once Was Mine based on the Disney movie Tangled. Those are some of my favorite books.

Just started to read upon a Burning throne!
I am also scared but excited to read it too.
Top tip I got about reading chunky books is to mark out the book in more manageable sections. I split this into 6 and might read other books inbetween the sections to break up the Epic ness with a middle grade or novella or novel in verse.

...also you broke my book buying ban as I started looking up Pages and Co Tilly and the book wanderers and World of Books helpfully had the UK hard back in very good 2nd hand condition for £6...so I bought it quick!

Hope you had a great birthday, Gavin!! The Murderer's Ape by Jakob Wegelius is a Swedish book and at least over here it's for ages 12-15 ('Youth'), so not quite middlegrade. There's a graphic novel prequel as well, The Legend of Sally Jones, but you don't have to read that one before enjoying the novel. :)

WHAT A BOOK HAUL I LOVE IT HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN. Also I love that book print so much!! I have heard amazing things about detransition baby and really want to read it as well. I am so hyped for cemetery boys and have my copy waiting for me as well D: The magic fish has been so lovely lately and sounds wonderful. Ooh I am curious about the lockwood and co series! I didn't realise it was books but not graphic novels originally D: I have read and enjoyed another series by stroud already. I need to pick up the tilly and the book wanderers series ASAP.
