This video was from when they were dating, the MC basically said something along the lines of "you [heechul] must be happy that a special someone is here". The video is mostly edited, but the two idols did panic when he said that because they were afraid of how the fans would react. They were both aware of the hatred they (heechul) would be receiving. No, the MC is not evil like all of you make him sound, yes he should have been more cautious because fans are (ones or what ever they were called) are mostly insane, but he was mostly looking out for a younger brother. In conclusion, the ones that were hurting them were the fans. Please dont take things out of context and twist them.

Some people in the comments need to understand they didn’t want their relationship to be announced and out in the public. People over here saying, “the joke wasn’t even that bad, ” are simply ignorant to the situation going on. Their relationship had just recently been announced and the MC made a joke, in front of the thousands of people at the Award show saying Heechul would be super happy to see someone there, he pointed to where the idols were, where Twice was. It was heavily implied and obvious that he was talking about Momo so he then proceeded to say Super Junior! You can see Heechul didn’t find it funny nor did Twice. Their relationship was already receiving a lot of judgment from the media, so now their relationship they didn’t want to be public was put on blast in front of thousands and millions at home to see. It’s completely understandable why Momo would cry, I couldn’t imagine the anxiety she must’ve had feeling like everyone was watching her. It must’ve felt terrible. 💔
