For all the people wondering why they're calling him "papa": Papa in italian means pope. Papa *doesn't* mean daddy. Stop asking why they're calling him daddy. Only because in english "papa" means daddy that doesn't mean that in italian has the same meaning. In italian "daddy" is papà or papi, not papa. Learn the difference.
