Too bad didn't work for me. The edit settings.json is not available in exclude languages, there are however, corresponding textboxes and checkboxes which I tried using to enter the values for files associations and trigger on expansion on tab but didn't work. What worked finally for me is uninstall then reinstall vs code.

Hello, this code did not work for me. I just get a "command 'emmet.expandAbbreviation' not found" Emmet works in my initial folder but does not work in my most recent folders.

Just today my emmet stopped working. Watched and googled a dozen pages and videos without luck. All tips are almost the same with included languages. But what made difference for me excluding language "markdown". from this video.
