Being able to read/listen to 18 books in a month is a dream for me! Moth months I’m lucky if I manage 8 and most of them are usually audio books! Love your selections for this month. I love that you have library books in your selection. I try to borrow books every month from the library even if I dont get around to reading them all. I just want to help keep the library ticking over and show there is a need for it in the community!

I'm currently reading Scoff - also dipping in and out because it's quite dense- and the chapter about lunch and its history, according to class and regions, was absolutely mind-boggling for me xD It was so hard to keep up that I started taking notes so I could understand lunch and dinner and the different times and... aaah, fascinating.

I really enjoyed Weir’s Anne Boleyn when I read it. I am really looking forward to your vlog on Anne Boleyn. Loved the vlog on Katherine of Aragon. I have “Love and Marriage” which I ordered from the UK, but I haven’t read it yet.

I really enjoyed what I've read of the Alison Weir Series so far. If you enjoyed the Alison Weir series you should check out Phillipa Gregory who also does Tudor fiction. You should also check out Elizabeth Chadwick who does some of the non Tudor known queen's as well as some fictional lords and ladies. Sounds like a great TBR. Happy reading 😁

Haven’t read the Alison Weir books yet, but loved the Tudor series by Philippa Gregory and theTudor tv series is excellent 🤩

Hi Lauren really sure you'll really like Love Marriage a lot. Yes, really. I thought the Attica Locke book pretty good, tho it didn't sell in the shop where I p/time work. Lots of mentions of Kent in The Anglo- Saxons which I loved - not written in an academicy style but still scholarly.

The Attica Locke book was pretty ok. Reading Girl A which grabs you right away.

Huge TBR! Feel like you need a Reading 24 hours in one weekend to get through a few. Also will be reading Notes on an Execution this month.
