I invested about $250k some years back into ETFs, some bluechip and individual stocks which makes me about $20k monthly ROI still the best way to build up

Invest on your skills and find a business you can later automate. You can retire in 3 years and just manage it few jours per week. Real estate and stock market are good side investments but never count on it. Your skills and a good business are 100% and now not in 20 years

Good Advice Richard! Earned income is a huge driver of financial flexibility and opportunity. I love student rentals for this purpose because they are returning a lot more than 4-7% for me in my career, and there is a lot more up side creation, tax advantages, etc that I think are easier when compared to stocks. Passive income is king!

Good long term goals. There are other ways to make it happen sooner. I made about 50k this year in passive income from some work I did over 2 years ago part time. I'm now working in insurance buiding up renewal income. I know a lady who earned 150k last year not working at all during Covid. Instead she put all her time into buying a nice house, moving in and remodeling. I used to think I need a million dollars so I can quit a job I hated. I instead figured out how to start making passive income and quit that job. Now I have freedom already. I can work from home on my own schedule. I can build up 50k in passive income from insurance in a few years. Then work about 3 hours a week maybe to maintain it. Having a million dollars as another passive income stream would be nice though.
