John Deere 1025R With 60D Mower Deck vs REALLY Tall Grass!

Cleaning up the fence-line after cutting and baling the hay. This stuff is over 4' tall and really thick and the little tractor did quite well. Probably not the preferred mower for this job but I can get a lot closer to the fence with the 60D mower than I can with the brush hog. And, I just wanted to see if the 1025R was up to the task. It was...didn't miss a beat.

I’ve mowed weeds that tall too, they looked thicker. With sharp blades after a 2nd pass the clippings and whatever didn’t get cut got cut. But think if I mow tall thick stuff again I’d like to get a flail mower or a bush hog
