Cleared up a lot of questions I had about ubikey.

I was hoping to see the FIDO application like you can use the Yubikey on Google accounts skipping the need for 2FA. What you are showing here is the Yubico 2FA generator which is great but not the one touch only process I was hoping for :-)

What about setting up a backup of your yubikey for example having to hardware key as backup in case one is lost. ?

Good job dr om John, now it looks simple, but is not on the yubikey website. You must go to work by Yubikey, your voice is also good!

Ideally I wouldn't need to install the Yubico authenticator app, but would just plug in my Yubikey and touch it. In addition to having to "paste"in a code, this solution also requires you to have Yubico's app running all the time just in order to add a physical touch to the authentication process. And how would this work with your mobile? I guess you need to generate the code on your desktop?

I was hoping DSM 7 would native support for one or more physical 2FA keys.

i added yubikey key with your method, it worked perfectly. Unfortunately, the second key cannot be added. Has Synology forgotten that the first key may be lost?

Could you make a video tutorial using OPNsense firewall and Yubikey for 2FA?

Hey Tony, thanks for the video. I have 2 Synologys and now have them both 2FA with a Yubikey 5 NFC. Is there a way to add a second key as a backup 2FA? Not sure if this is possible, would I just need the secret key from each Synology and then add that to the Yubico authenticator app with the second key? Thanks

Why not use the scan option? it's way easier then copy past.
