Finding your Minecraft mods folder is actually really easy. Now, you will have to had Forge installed in the past in order to even have a mods folder. To do that, you can use the Tutorial in the description above. It is always up-to-date with the most recent version of Forge and Minecraft, and it will help you out.
After you have confirmed you have had Forge before, we can find your Minecraft mods folder. To do this, press the little Windows icon in the bottom or top left of your screen. This will open the start menu. Here, you can search for the ‘Run’ app. Open the Run app that appears, and in it, there will be a text box. In this text box, type ‘%appdata%’ and hit enter. Your Roaming folder will then open. You will have a ‘.minecraft’ folder. Open that, and you should see a mods folder.
