The 1000's I play do not play this bad, but that's how it always seems watching a really good chess player against lower ratings

"This guy apparently has never seen the London, becuase he's already thinking"

Me who has also never seen the London: "What an idiot"

"this guy lost all his pieces to one move blunder" I had to double check to make sure he wasn't playing me.

As a 950-1000 It's soul crushing to see how quickly his rating goes up.

Me: thinking up to 2 min about a move
Him: Having just 3 min on the clock - talking casualy about everything that is possible... lol (I am also a ~1000)

Gotham playing Blitz: “coaches and talks while having more than enough time to make the perfect move”

Me playing 15 | 10 : “WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO I ONLY HAVE 30 SECONDS”

It's so funny watching a talented individual play chess. When I'm playing, it's like that meme with all the formulas floating around and I'm the dude in the middle with the intelligence of an ant trying to figure out 1+1. Watching levy explain and play these games is just hilarious how effortless it is. Really impressive.

Most impressive part of the vid... the fact that Levy knows Polish curse words when he see's them!

It always amazes when I look back at the game analysis and see obvious takes that I miss or one-move blunders I give up. It happens most often when I zone in a plan and something comes open on another part of the board. A lot of it has to do with trying to play fast so you don't lose on time.

I enjoyed this series, it was really instructive and helpful. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos.

An excellent refresh to John Bartholomew's series. Loving it so far!
