Useful info, practical advice, clearly presented. Histograms are all over the place — cameras, smartphone apps, editing software and medical charts (well, maybe not med charts😁) — so there’s no good reason for not using them. I understand that histograms in cams are based on the JPGs (so we have more leeway in RAW, as you mentioned) — true? In editing software is that also true, or is the histogram (say in Adobe Raw) for the raw file based on the RAW image data? Would a histogram be different for a cam modified for infrared? (7K views in pop up — really??)
