Excellent job myself and probably like most people don't know the air conditioning system.. I like to way you walk us through step by step through the whole system. And not moving through too fast with the camera my video sucks haha the slower the better... Last Summer I noticed my AC wasn't refilling wasn't getting cold refilled it so it kind of sucked I had to go through most of the summer with no AC.. I was thinking I just might need a recharge and flush the system but I actually just bought a UV light die cut cuz I have some transmission leaks and possible oil leak. God knows what else thanks you should make more videos... You sound very professional..👍👍👍

You only need 1/2 oz of the dye so that bottle will do several vehicles and if you check the evap drain it will show dye if the evap has a leak

One of the things I love about your video is you don't spend 20 minutes talking about who you are and what you do and what we're gonna be doing today and where you can find stuff and the good and the bad and the ugly you just get right into it.. And you didn't have some 20 minute introduction about about your channel or whatever.
You kept it k.i.s.s. ty very much appreciate

On the Blazer the compressor will short cycle when low too. The gauge will run into the red and drop below the green, pressure back into the red and drop back below the green, over and over until it has enough refrigerant.

It's a great video for quick A/C leak detection but most time not accurate. the slow A/C leak will take a couple months to leak down. check the leak by this way all the slow leak one will need the evaporator replacement

@buddysdiy hi how are you? great video very informative Quick question I have tried the paperclip method with the AC pressure connector, but it will not engage I have a 2009, Honda Accord but I noticed that it has three pins on my connector I tried, jumping the left pin and the right pin without the middle pin on the connector and all it does is make the VSA light come on I don’t know how I would jump three pins instead of the two pin method I also checked the compressor with a scanner tool and it says the clutch is good and I wanted to know it I know you said on part of your video that you have to use the pin method to kick the compressor on for it to run the UV dye throughout the system But does it work if your compressor does not kick on could it be another reason why it’s not running check the fuses and relaysl as well and they’re fine

Cuanto tiempo duran las manchas de UV en la fuga?

Use the recommended amount of dye . It might take 1-3 mths under full charge to show leaks with dye . Evaporator cores should be cleaned every 70k miles . When installing dye and refrigerant by a small can the flex hose must have all air bled from it . Air inside an aircon causes bad performance .

Seeing no leaks are you sure the dye went into the system? I hate going into all this plastic dash for nothing lol. I'm not trying to be smart@$$ but I am curious how do you know the dye went into the system.thanks

Is this method for a completely empty system?

Also check the water that drains from the AC if the leak is in the core the dye might show up in the water.

is this the same dye they use to find oil leaks ?

Although a nifty dollar saver, note that the staple trick (a.k.a. paper clip trick) can damage some cars sensors. For example, later Subarus and Toyotas — I’m sure there are others.
